LUANOTX: I’m Luz Otxoa (LUANOTX), an explorer of shapes and light. My work exists at the confluence of structure and surrender, a liminal dance where chaos meets control. In my world, abstraction is not random but a wand wielded to carve meaning out of emptiness. From the smell of oil paints to the glow of computer screens. I started at an early age, playing in theatre, dancing classical ballet and using materials like porcelain and acrylics, leading me through fine arts studies in Montreal, Canada. Guided by mentors who spoke in pigments and pixels, I learned to channel the spirit of ideas into strokes and code. With additional certifications in contemporary and digital curatorial art, digital design and yoga, my practice bridges traditional and digital realms, reflecting a commitment to explore form, movement, and meaning. Each piece vibrates with the energy of in-between gestures, refusing to settle in fixed compositions. My art is a silent dialogue between what can be controlled and what must be let go. My continuous engagement in arts as an artist, curator or spectator is a lifetime research.
