I am Luz Otxoa, a digital artist and curator, operating under my curatorial label LUANOTX.curates. My practice emerges from a life lived between languages and cultures, observing how meaning fragments and transforms through people, places, and media. I work with AI, photography, code, and forms inspired by organic shapes, translating them into prints, paintings, letters, poems, and digital works. Materials become systems to decode, informed by concrete poetry, Amazonian weaving, and programming syntax. Gestures, movement, and personalities decompose, mutate, and transform in my work. Meditation, yoga therapy, and breathwork guide my process, making repetition and attention a contemplative act. Since 2011 I have worked with Processing and began collaborating with AI in 2023. My studies in inter-media arts, fine arts, photography, graphic design, printing, ceramics, creative coding, and curation across Montreal, London, Venice, and Berlin, together with exhibitions I co-curated in Nantes, Montreal, Shenzhen, Tbilisi, and Venice, make travel, language, and the movement of ideas central to my practice.
